| About GEOS
for Children
GEOS has its own publishing house and education department. Therefore, the curriculum, materials and texts used within our schools are unique to GEOS.
Following an intensive training period of one and a half weeks, teaching begins in one of our numerous schools located around Japan.
Teachers' working hours may be from 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm, or 1pm-9pm, depending on their class
schedules. This 8-hour day includes a one-hour lunch break and lesson preparation time, with a maximum of 6 classes per day. Two consecutive days off (either Saturday and Sunday, or Sunday and Monday) are guaranteed. For a glimpse of life as a teacher with GEOS for Children, take a look at our

While teaching experience is considered an asset, it is by no means necessary. We employ teachers from a vast range of disciplines who hold a degree or certified diploma. A desire to succeed and a love for children of all ages will take you a long way!
GEOS for Children offers a unique salary advancement system, as well as an end-of-contract bonus. Along with these incentives, health insurance,
a private apartment, rental assistance, a work visa and ongoing training are also provided. For more details about our salary package,
